• CXtec lays off 42 workers in Salina CXtec on Wednesday laid off 42 Syracuse-area employees and three others in its Buffalo office - 12 percent of its work force - because of a change in its agreements with computer equipment maker Cisco Systems that cut revenues by almost one-third.
